I can’t say enough good things about Feru Bar and Restaurant! From start to finish, everything about our experience was amazing. The spaghetti was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and full of rich flavor. We also tried the Ethiopian wine, and it was incredible — smooth, unique, and paired perfectly with our meal. What made the evening even more special was the personal touch from the owner, who came out and made fresh Ethiopian coffee right in front of us. It was such a warm, welcoming experience that truly made us feel like family. The service was hands down the best we’ve ever had — attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. If you’re looking for authentic flavors, amazing hospitality, and a memorable night out, Feru is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back!

Our group had both the veggie and the meat lovers sampler platters. So many delicious items to choose from. Service was excellent, and the owner gave us super interest background on dishes we weren’t familiar with. So glad to have this place in the neighborhood!

Tried this little gem while visiting family in the area. The food was outstanding, but more than that, the owner was an amazing woman who shared her culture and history with us. If you’re looking for great food with outstanding vibes- this is the place.

This is my second time here and I love it. The service is exceptional. Food was delicious. Love all the options and trying different things. My favorite is the veggie combo! It was like taking a trip while being in the West End of ALEXANDRIA!

My wife and I tried this restaurant for our first experience of Ethiopian food - and we were delighted with our choice. The owner, Nirebet was an amazing hostess and gracious in explaining the what and the how, the ingredients, the delicacies and the traditions. The service was very personalized, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was delicious! We had the vegetable Sambusa as appetizers, the Awasa Tibs for our main course, and Baklava for dessert. I topped it off with the traditional Ethiopian coffee while my wife tried the tea with ginger, cloves, cinnamon and other spices. It was all truly excellent, with the Injera and tender beef Awasa Tibs and the homemade baklava making us want more. We highly recommend this place, and will be certainly visiting again to try some of the other dishes.
